B52 energy drink Citrus berry

I’m down to my last can of B52 energy drink. This is the original flavor of Citrus Berry. I have had the Sugar Free version and it scored well especially in the taste department so I have high hope for the full sugar version.
Packaging: B52 comes in a 16 oz aluminum can. The can is all black. No shrink wrapped label here. Circling around the top of the can in an orange font is a list of key ingredients. Vertical down the can are 4 orange stripes. Towards the top is the B52 logo which has a cool retro look to it. The logo has a silver and black B52 bomber bursting out of a yellow background with “B 52” in a nice red retro font and “energy drink” in a green font. At the bottom of the can is the flavor “Citrus Berry” in a green font. This entire label is on the front and back of the can and supplement facts are on the side. I like this can and it stands out in a crowd with it’s retro look. Grade B for packaging
Slogan: “Refreshes and energizes mind and body” is not real exciting but it is passable and it’s on the can so that is a plus. Grade C for slogan
Taste: Popping the top I get a strong citrus scent. Several people in the room smelled this from a distance and said it smelled like citrus as well. I pour some in a cup and it comes out a translucent bright orange with a medium carbonation. Carbonation seems less than in the sugar free version. I take a sip and I get some sweet berry flavor up front followed by some sweet citrus and it finishes with some strong tartness. The finish reminds me of Sweet tarts candy. No vitamin taste or after taste at all. Man this can was gone before I knew it. You want to just keep drinking it till it’s gone. I have to give this a grade of A for taste. If you like sweet drinks you can’t go wrong with this one.
Kick/ingredients. As always with B52 drinks I drank it down quickly since it taste so good. I got a hugh burst of energy and found myself smiling and working at a rapid pace. Things I was putting off got done in rapid fashion and I was in a great mood while doing them. I was actually a tad bit jittery even. The buzz lasted about 4 hours with a minor crash at the end. B52 ingredients include caffeine(99mg) Ginseng, Ginko biloba, Inositol, and Taurine; 800% of your DV for B12 and 250% of your DV of B6. It is sweetened with HFC and comes in at 240 calories ,58 grams of sugar, and 60 grams of carbs. Grade B for kick.
Web presence: The website at drink-b52.com is ok. It sticks with the B 52 theme well. It has ingredients info, reviews, where you can buy B 52 drinks, and contact info. Not a fancy site but easy on the eyes and gets the job done. Grade C for web presence.
Recap:
I have to say that the entire B52 line up is top shelf. They have some awesome taste and above average kick. They also come in the cool retro looking cans which I find very appealing. This Citrus Berry has a super sweet taste that many find very tasty. If you a Monster or Rockstar energy drink fan I think you will really want to give this a try especially. It’s definitely on par with those drinks in the kick and the taste is a step up.
