Energy Catalyst
Once again we have another contender in the new energy category of mixers. Not as in mix with alcohol but as in mix with anything you drink. It is a great idea to make a product you can just add to your favorite drink and turn it into an energy drink. There are so many possibilities. Energy Catalyst looks to be a standout in this category with a slick professional look. Let’s check it out.
Packaging: Right off the bat Energy Catalyst grabs your eye with its unique packaging. You have a little green and white cardboard pack with 4 little clear plastic vials/ampoules. These little vials have a snap off top and you can see the clear liquid inside. This is a very cool packaging job and totally unique. Grade A-
Slogan: “Add energy to anything” is on the box several times. It is not catchy or fun but it does get the message across as to what this product is all about in only 4 words. Grade B
Taste: Well it is really hard to judge taste on these types of products. Straight out of the vial it is bitter of course since it is mostly just caffeine. You are not supposed to drink it that way though. Mixed in any flavored drink I tried it in it was fine. I mixed it in Coke Zero, Gatorade, Hot chocolate ect and it did not seem to change the taste of these drinks at all. That is a good thing. So for taste I give it a NA. it taste as good as what you mix it with.
Kick/Ingredients: Every time I mixed it with the recommended amount of what ever I wanted it worked well. I got a nice boost of energy in the usual 15 minutes. It was a good buzz that lasted about 3 hours with no crash. Mixing it with less liquid I got a more intense buzz that was not jittery at all but was a notch above your average energy drink. This is a smooth buzz that I think works well for work or school. One cool thing about Energy catalyst is that it is all natural and the caffeine is water extracted. The other ingredients are all natural as well. In fact the ingredients in there entirety consist of only 100mg natural caffeine, Purified water, natural flavor, and natural Vitamin B12. There are 0 calories and carbs or sugar. I’ll give them a grade of C+ for kick/ingredients.
Web Presence: The site at catalystbrand.com is very nicely done. I was able to find out all the information I wanted to know about the product and company. I love how the design works so well with the product name also. You can order from their store as well. Not a ton of content but well made and very pleasant to look at and use. Grade B

I really like this product. It is very well packaged and portable so you can take it and mix it with whatever you are drinking. It mixes into drinks without altering their taste. It also provides the kick you expect with your typical energy drink while remaining all natural and sugar free. That is a pretty strong combo. Get you some if you can and let me know what you think.
