Bazi Jujube power Shot
So I am usually on top of things when it comes to energy products. This one however came out of no where though. I had never heard of it when they contacted me and offered me some samples. I thought at first it was strictly a MLM type product. I did a little research and found I could buy it directly from the company with none of the typical MLM bs and this impressed me right off. Then I discovered that Bazi was in fact no longer a MLM company at all. To me this says they think they have a legit product they can sell by normal means. After this I could not wait to try it.
Packaging: Ok so right off I like this uniquely shaped 2 oz bottle. It stands out well and looks mature and uncluttered. They list it as a power shot which might confuse some energy shot buyers but probably only a few. The shape of the bottle itself makes me think of power since it is kind of rocket shaped. Grade B for packaging
Slogan: “Invigorates the mind and body” is right on the bottle and I think it works very well with this product. They are not aiming to be just another energy shot but instead they are a healthy shot packed with super fruits and vitamins. This makes the slogan work. Grade B
Taste: So I twist off the lid and get a vitamin packed scent along with some fruit smells. I pour some in a cup and it comes out almost the color of carrot juice except maybe a little rustier colored. Same dense looking liquid though as far as consistency goes. It is not your typical looking shot for sure and it is a little off putting. Then again it is jammed with a lot of fruits and such so that is how it probably should look. I take a sip and surprisingly it taste a lot better than expected. It is a sweet mixed berry and fruit flavor with some vitamin taste but surprisingly very little bitterness. I would say it is a lot better then many shots I have tried which contained a lot less ingredients. I’d say it taste like a healthy shot. Grade B- for taste
Kick/Ingredients: So considering it is a “Power Shot” I was not expecting a big boost. I was wrong. I drank it down and in 15 to 20 minutes I was going pretty damn good. I was slightly jittery and I had a mid/high level buzz and I was just feeling great over all. This shot packs a pretty good punch. It is hard to describe but this buzz was just different in the way it felt. I guess you could call it a healthy buzz. I got a good 4 to 5 hours of energy out of this with no crash at the end. So this thing is packed with a ton of ingredients per bottle. 80 mg of caffeine, 50 mg Inositol, 50 mg PABA, 50 mg Rutin, high doses of 12 different vitamins including A, B, C, D, and E, 68 minerals and also 8 super fruits. The fruits are JuJube, Acai, Pomegranate, Blueberry, Mangosteen, Raspberry, and Seabuckthorn. You get this with 40 calories, and 10 grams of carbs and sugars. It is sweetened with fructose and pear juice. Unusual and effective I think. Grade B+ for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: The site at drinkbazi.com is pretty good it has product info, a comparison page, store, and a really nice page of Bazi athletes. I found the variety of athletes to be an interesting read. The site looks nice and is easy to navigate. Overall not too bad. Grade C+

Ok so I almost passed at the chance to try this stuff. I really don’t like MLM products as a general rule. Once I found out their MLM days were over I went for it and I am glad I did. This shot provide a great buzz, good taste, healthy fruits and vitamins, and practically the entire periodic table when it comes to minerals. This is a buzz unlike any other I have had. It is not that it is super strong or anything it is just different and has to be experienced for one to understand it. I say if your looking for a healthy energy product this is a damn good place to start. The price on their website is actually pretty fair.
