Cyclone Energy Shot Raging Berry
And the shot market continues to explode! Here we have another new shot from a small company. Now these shots are coming out all the time but I was intrigued by this one because it is different. It is billed as a Healthy Athletic shot and is not just your usual blend of ingredients. So many shot are just clones with different labels. Not so With Cyclone. They have their own formula.
Packaging: Standard plastic shot bottle in the 2.5 oz size. The bottle is wrapped in a nice maroon red label and has a very cool logo and a nice vortex background. The fonts used are nice and there is a ton of info in the bottle but it is not cluttered looking and works well. Nice and aggressive. Grade B for packaging.
Slogan: “Feel The Storm” is on the bottle and I like it a lot. I always enjoy a slogan that is drink specific and this one fits the product well. It goes great with the wording on the bottle that reads “Category 5 Enhanced”. I give them a grade of A- for slogan.
Taste: Twisting off the lid I get the scent of grape mixed in with the typical energy shot scent. I pour some in a cup and the liquid is a cola brown color. Taking a sip I get some nice berry flavor mixed in with some sweet grape then it finishes with a nice tartness. There is minimal aftertaste and the berry flavor actually lingers a bit and is quite nice. There are a lot of ingredients in this shot and I think they did a great job covering them up without overdoing the sweetness. Grade B
Kick/Ingredients: I had several bottle and tried them on different occasions. The shot worked well at my job getting me through an afternoon slump but where it really excelled was when I took it prior to my afternoon run. Each time I tried this shot it hit me hard and extremely fast. It was mere minutes before I was blasted with energy, alertness, and focus. It verged on the edge of jittery but did not quite cross over that line. I was able to power through my run with less than normal effort and felt energized after I was finished. This is one of the best shots I have tried for exercise and it delivered every time no matter how tired I was before I took it. It has some unique ingredients just for this purpose. You have Caffeine(don’t know how much), Taurine, Ribose, Ginseng, Guarana, Coenzyme Q10, Yerba Mate, L-Carnitine , Creatine, Vitamin C, 6 different B vitamins in big doses, Potassium, Manganese, and Magnesium. As you can see there are extra ingredients that will come in handy while exercising or exerting a lot of energy any way. You get this all with only 8 calories and no carbs or sugar. Grade A for kick/ingredients. Let me put it to you this way. Cyclone energy shot will blow you away!
Web Presence: The website at cycloneenergyshot.com is pretty nice as well. I could do without the flash intro but otherwise it is very well laid out and provides some really great product and ingredient info. The ingredients info is really the star of this site and I think others could lean from it. For a very small company this is a good site. Grade B+

Ok so you really have to try this shot. Even if you don’t exercise at all I think you will find it is one top shelf product. The taste is pretty good and the kick really is a category 5. The Ingredients are unique and very well thought out. Overall this is one of the more top quality shots I have had. I highly recommend it and think you should give it a try. If you really could harness the power of a cyclone into an energy shot this is what it would be like. This is serious stuff folks.
