“The Mood here is Euphoric”

Euphoric Pomegranate/Passion fruit energy drink

This is the second of 6 flavors from a new company called Euphoric energy. This is a new company and I am reviewing their 8.4 oz sample cans. The final product will come in a 16oz can. I like the fact that I’m getting a chance to try these before they show up at your local store. I won’t be taking my own pictures this time since these are just samples and not the finished product.

Packaging: While the final product comes in a 16 oz can those were not available yet. I am trying the 8.4 oz sample can. It is your typical 8.4oz slim can. It has a nice label but is not a finished product. If the final product looks as nice as it does on their site it will score well in packaging but since I don’t have one in hand I’ll rate it when it becomes available. I’ll hold off on grading the packaging until that time. Grade NA

Slogans:  “The future of Energy” is their slogan. I think this is a good one. That is the image they are going for. I’ll give them a grade of B- for slogan. Not something I’ll go around saying but it is better than your average slogan for energy drinks.

Taste ect:  Ok this one comes out of the can a slightly darker pink color than the watermelon/Kiwi. It has a pleasant smell. It does not smell at all like your typical energy drink. It has a medium carbonation and is translucent. It looks refreshing and it is. This flavor taste more Passion Fruit up front with just a hint of Pomegranate. I think maybe they should reverse the name. This is not as sweet of a drink as the watermelon/kiwi but that is good and makes it more thirst quenching. I love how these drinks totally don’t taste like an energy drink. I give this flavor a grade of B+.

Kick/Ingredients: Same profile of ingredients in this one as there was in the other Euphoric drinks. There is 70mg of caffeine, 600mg of Taurine, 25mg ginseng,80mg of inositol, 40mg Damiana leaf extract, 30mg Maca root extract, and 50mg of Suma root extract. Some interesting adaptogens in this mix. Not much else ingredient wise except flavor, carbonated water and some preservatives. It comes in at 110 calories and 26 gm of sugars. I got a nice smooth buzz and was alert and relaxed for several hours. I actually had a sense of well being which was probably from some of the unique ingredients in Euphoric drinks. It was quite a unique buzz.

Web presence:  Well Euphoric energy is a new company but they have a site at euphoricenergy.com. The site is pretty basic at the moment. The look of the site is good. It has contact info, and about us section, and a product gallery. There is no ingredient information so I was disappointed about that. I’ll cut them some slack and consider it under construction. I give it a grade of C. Has potential but still needs work. There is hardly any other information on these drinks on the rest of the internet. They do have a myspace page though.

Recap:

So far Euphoric is showing that they have a great line up of awesome tasting drinks with a unique ingredient list. These drinks seem to be in an area all their own and should have some success in the future. I know this review duplicates some things from my last Euphoric review but these drinks are all the same except for the flavors. I have to say that I am really looking forward to the other flavors. I really like the way these drinks make me feel as well.
