Sea2o Organic energy drink
Ok back with a healthy alternative energy drink. I realize for many a drink with no stimulants is going to seem strange. The fact is some people want to avoid stimulants like caffeine but still need some sort of boost. Maybe their DR. told them to cut out caffeine or they are just into a super healthy lifestyle. This is where Sea2o comes in. A sea change?
Packaging: Sea2o comes in a clean stylish white 10.5 oz can. It has some nice green and blue graphics above the Sea2o logo that remind one of the waves in the sea. Organic is printed repeatedly around the top of the can and “No Caffeine” is at the bottom under a USDA Organic Logo. Simple and smart. You know this is a healthy caffeine free drink and it is nice to look at. I give them a grade of B for packaging.
Slogans: On the can we got this. “ Natural Powerful Refreshing” That is more of a slogan than most drinks have so I’m going to give it a B- which is better than average. It tells you what this drink is about.
Taste ect: Well if it has not harsh chemical ingredients it better taste good. It does. It comes out of the can not clear but somewhere between clear and golden. It has a sweet smell and is not carbonated. It is slightly sweet with a honey like flavor. I’m surprised by how good it taste and I have actually drank several cans. It must be the taste of the agave sweetener. I give it a B for flavor.
Kick/Ingredients: You know it is not going to score high in this category but that is ok. It’s not that kind of drink. The ingredients are Water, Organic agave sweetener, organic inulin fiber, organic natural flavor, citric acid, seaweed extract, ascorbic acid, salt, and Vitamin B6. That is it. Short list compared to most. I got a gentle lift and some energy that helped me get through the afternoon. I have to say I was surprised by the boost I got. I still have to give it a D for kick when compared to most energy drinks. It scores well for ingredients but without stimulants it is not going to match up.
Web presence: They have a nice site at http://www.sea2o.com/ which gives you good nutritional information as well as where to purchase and contact info. I’ll give them a C for web presence. Not a lot of content but an attractive clean design.

Sea2o is a great drink when you don’t compare it to super charged regular energy drinks. There is a place for a healthy stimulant free ED in the market I think. It taste great and is good for you. I say give it a try for the taste and health benefits. The market is crowded with energy drinks. This one fills a niche that is wide open. Make sure you read the companion interview with Sea2o
